Christopher Woods is a writer, teacher and photographer who lives in Houston and Chappell Hill, Texas. His published works include a prose collection, Under a Riverbed Sky, and a book of stage monologues for actors, Heart Speak. He conducts private creative writing workshops in Houston. His photographs have appeared in many journals, with photo essays published in Glasgow Review, Public Republic, Deep South and Narrative Magazine, among others.

Artistic Statement: My time is divided between rural and urban environments. There is world of difference between the two. I seek out the beautiful and the strange, and am often surprised by the images that await, that somehow begged to be captured.
